It all started when I was just a little kid, tagging along with my grandad and my dad on their fishing trips in the South East of England taking advantage of the Leisure Sport Angling Membership (Later to become RMC Angling) and their vast collection of Lakes and Rivers. The smell of fresh water, the thrill of the catch – it was pure magic. Fast forward 60 years and here I am, still chasing the elusive carp and barbel. I’ve seen the fishing world evolve with fancy gear and high-tech gadgets, but I’ve always tried to stick to the old ways.
